Jayanta Sahoo, born in 1980, is engaged in both the production and finishing of Kansa objects at Balipatna . His wife, Mohini Sahoo, assists him in making Bell Metal. He shares that, historically, after marriage, the artisan community often moves from one village to another, and women from the mansard communities traditionally join their husbands in crafting Kansa. This exchange among clusters leads to the development of new patterns and stylistic approaches in the creation of their craft objects.
