Odisha Craft Odyssey hosted a vibrant exhibition at Lalit Kala Academy, Bhubaneswar, celebrating the rich intersection of art and craft. The event, open to the public, began with interactions between esteemed dignitaries and artists, followed by a documentary screening and curatorial presentations. Highlights included Disharee Mathur’s discussion on design intervention, Ritaban Ghosh’s research paper, and Kirti Kumari’s stunning photography display. A panel discussion featuring the esteemed Jagannath Panda provided deeper insights into the art community, while members of the Kansari Paribaar Bikasa O Unnayana Parishad offered valuable perspectives on the craft heritage. The event, which aimed to promote and preserve Odisha's craft traditions, concluded with a commitment from MGM and BEADS to return next year with a new focus on a different craft cluster, continuing the legacy of this significant cultural initiative.
