Code Of Conduct

In our constant attempt to create a respectful, equal, professional and safe workplace for all the participants, volunteers, and local community, Odisha Craft Odyssey is issuing a code of conduct.

This also reflects our vision and seriousness towards sexual harassment, which is subject to zero tolerance.

Please note:

Sexual harassment in the workplace can be physical, verbal, or non-verbal, and includes the major forms as follows:

(a) Physical forms of sexual harassment such as any unwanted contact, ranging from intentional touching, caressing, pinching, hugging, or kissing to sexual assault or rape.

(b) Verbal forms of sexual harassment include socially and culturally inappropriate and unwelcome comments with sexual overtones, such as sexually suggestive jokes or comments about a person’s dress or body, made in their presence or directed toward them. They also include persistent proposals, unwelcome requests, or repeated personal invitations to go out.

(c) Non-verbal forms of sexual harassment include unwelcome gestures, suggestive body language, indecent exposure, lascivious looks, repeated winks, and gestures with fingers. It also includes the unwelcome exchange or sharing of pornographic materials, sexually explicit pictures and objects, screensavers or posters, as well as sexually explicit emails, notes, or SMS messages.

Odisha Craft Odyssey will not tolerate any form of harassment or intimidation—sexual, physical, verbal, emotional, or otherwise—based on gender, sexual orientation, age, appearance, marital status, religion, ability, or any other reason, at any time of day or night, including during gatherings and social events. Consumption of alcohol or intoxicating substances cannot be used as an excuse for such behaviour.

Upon receiving credible information regarding any such behaviour during or after participation in the Residency/Fellowship Programme, Odisha Craft Odyssey reserves the right to terminate its association with the individual and withdraw support for their participation and work.
