Born in 1971, Kailash Chandra Sahoo is an artisan from Balipatna, specializing in making thalis (plates) and thaliya (plates). He has been working in this field for more than 40 years. Throughout his artisanal journey, he has worked with both Pittal (Brass) and Kansa (Bell Metal). He is one of the artisans from the community who loves his work and is dedicated to it. As he says, Kailash aims to continue making Kansa in the coming years and to keep creating as long as his physical strength allows.
