Born in 1996, Subhas Sahu is an artisan from Katapalli who works with both Kansa and Pittal. He also has experience in making Gal metal and Neri. Gal is a mixture of Pittal (brass) and Kansa (Bell Metal), while Neri is a lighter metal than Pittal used for creating objects like deities’ beds and decorative items for household use. Subhas worked on various objects, including Bell Metal items, in his daily practice. Now Subhas runs a departmental store.
