A glimpse into the process of developing a fictional narrative through creative exploration, interaction, and play.

As part of the OCO Residency Programme 2026, visual artist Muskaan Singh is developing a narrative inspired by Dhokra traditions, stories shared by artisans, and local myths. Through costume play and interactions with children in the village, she is exploring ways to translate these cultural references into a visual and imaginative storytelling process.

These moments offer a look into the evolving stages of her work, which will take its final form at the upcoming OCO Residency exhibition.
