Observing, Documenting, Understanding.

The fieldwork continues in Sadeibereni, Dhenkanal, as part of the OCO Residency Programme 2026. Through conversations, observation, and direct engagement with Dokra artisans, the residents are exploring the processes, skills, and knowledge that shape this traditional metal craft. These field encounters offer an opportunity to understand the community’s practices and the ways knowledge is sustained and shared across generations.
